Many things happened in the pas 6-7 months… One of the happy events was our cat Yoshimi giving birth to 5 beautiful kittens. Photos go chronologically from the time she was still pregnant to now that we are left with two of her kitties (Mingus the black cat and Nazca the white one). Also we are now the proud owners of yet another kitten (why stop at 3 cats when you can have four…). It has no name, yet! For the moment we call it Foufie, until we get to know her better and find her a proper name!
Enjoy the parade of kitty photos!!!!
This was taken a week before she gave birth
This was an attempt to take some pictures of the kittens in order to find families to adopt them; she got so stressed we took them out of the nest that we had to quickly put them back…
This is Nazca, she still ‘lives’ with us. Her new mother is going to pick her up in August. She is going to live in Italy! What a cosmopolitan kitty!
The were too cute to put down..
And this is Mingus, the one we kept for ourselves!
This is our newest addition to the family (of crazy cat people and their cats..). She was found under a car, hungry, dirty and a bit sick! She is getting bigger and more demanding. She is quite feisty and extremely loving at the same time! I think she is going to have a unique character!
And a grown up Nazca!
I haven’t posted much in a long time, truth is it has been a shitty year for me and I am very glad it is gone. So here’s to a better one!
I had to travel to Spain for family matters and it was a great opportunity to take some pictures! I find it hard to take pictures when at home and working so this was a good way to ease my way back into taking photos. I had with me the lovely RICOH GR camera which is A M A Z I N G for street snaps with an impressive result in colors.
I hope you enjoy
Somewhere above the Alps on the way to Barcelona:
On the bus going from Barcelona to Zaragoza. I love front seats on buses, it looks like you are watching a cinema screen!
Zaragoza was created by Augustus Caesar and originally called Caesaraugusta hence Zaragoza…
I can’t help it, I find kitsch shop windows mesmerizing.
I should get my ducks in a row (very bad pun. But intended.)
THE most delicious tapas. Zaragoza has little to offer to a tourist but trust me there are some tapas bars that are worth it!
“God knows what your kisses taste like”
Loving the colours!
On the plane back home
This is the newest addition to our family!
Her name is Yoshimi and this is where her name came from!
This is the first day we got her!
She soon felt very very extremely comfortable to play with and attack A N Y T H I N G tha moves!
Yoshimi in the jungle!
Though not focused I love this picture!
This year’s Easter was extra fun! We had a lot of guests and a lot of cooking! The food was delicious and the wine even better…

Discussions before dinner
The self-complacent teenager
Preparing the goat and Don Corleone is concentrating on its seasoning
and everybosy is taking photos of the spectacle!
The roasting of the goat has begun and everybody is having a beer
and a discussion whether A. is doing a good job or not…
Dessert was good!
Sunday today and the weather was GREAT! So, as you can imagine, we had a walk in the sun and this time it was in Lakki and the Castle. A very buffled me, was trying to rediscover my nikon dslr, which I have not used in almost 5 months.
